AI Foundations for Bankers (learnai.jefflemieux.com) is a free course run by Jeff Lemieux. There are no accounts, no sign-up forms and no payments. This page explains the little information the site does handle.

Visit statistics (Google Analytics)

To understand which parts of the course are useful, the site uses Google Analytics 4. When you visit, Google Analytics sets cookies and records information such as the pages you view, how you arrived (for example, from a search engine or a link), your browser and device type, and your approximate location (country or city). We use these reports in aggregate to improve the course. We do not use them to identify you, and the site shows no advertising.

Google processes this information under its own terms; see how Google uses information from sites that use its services. To stop Google Analytics on every site you visit, install Google's opt-out browser add-on, or block cookies in your browser settings. The course works the same either way.

Your progress stays on your device

The units you mark complete and your recent searches are saved only in your own browser (its local storage, under the names ai-course-progress and search-recent). They are never sent to us or anyone else, and they do not follow you to another browser or device.

  • To clear your progress, use Reset Progress at the bottom of the home page.
  • Clearing your browser's site data for learnai.jefflemieux.com removes both.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Vercel, which handles every request to the site and keeps standard technical logs (such as IP addresses and request times) to operate and secure its service.
